We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and inerrant
word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe the scriptures teach that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
who came and died as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. He rose
from the grave being victorious over death and is seated at the right
hand of God. (John 1:1, Hebrews 1:1-4, Romans 3:21)
We believe that salvation is by God’s grace accepted and appropriated
by faith alone in Christ alone. It does not entail or demand any works
as a condition to gain eternal life. (Acts 16:31, Eph. 2:8-9) The
assurance of salvation and our eternal security is based on the words
of Jesus in that if you believe, you have passed from death to life
and will never come into judgment. (John 5:24 I John 5:13)
We believe in the premillennial, pretribulational return of Christ and
that the Lord Jesus will come bodily to set up His kingdom rule in His
role as king of all creation.
We believe that every Christian will one day stand before Jesus at the
BEMA seat, the judgment seat of Christ, to be evaluated for his or her
Christian life. (I Cor. 3:14, II Cor. 5:9-10, Rom 14:10) This is not
to determine if a person is a Christian but to evaluate the life and
ministry of the believer so as to be rewarded for their good works.
Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. (Eph. 2:8-9, Rom. 3:21
Gal. 2:16) Rewards are based on faithfulness.
In light of these beliefs, Grace Line seeks to educate, encourage, and
exhort Christians to live today in light of tomorrow, because right
now counts forever.
To those who are without law, as without law,
though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ,
so that I might win those who are without law. To the weak I became
weak, that I might win the weak; I have become all things to all men,
so that I may by all means save some. I do all things for the sake of
the gospel, so that I may become a fellow partaker of it Do you not
know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the
prize? Run in such a way that you may win. Everyone who competes in
the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to
receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run
in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating
the air; but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after
I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified. 1
